    How many non-homeowners are there in Buckhurst Hill anyway?

    If people actually sat down and listened to the arguments, what proportion of homeowners do you think would be converted away from H.O.ism?

    J, I guess the same proportion of renters as anywhere else, twenty or thirty per cent?

    As to your second question, and having spent six years trying, the answer is "very few". They have tasted the Fool's Gold of rising house prices and they are hooked.
